Now is the 28th year, Wanderlust is an annual travel extravaganza presented by students of FGCU's School of Resort & Hospitality Management.
Join us Saturday, April 1, 6 to 9 p.m. at Six Bends Harley-Davidson on The Plaza for a night to remember!
On April 1st, guests will enjoy numerous activities and opportunities to bid on travel packages that will entice even seasoned travelers. Wanderlust benefits the School of Resort & Hospitality Students by supporting important programs like financial assistance, scholarships, and it provides resources that give students a competitive edge upon graduation.
The Wanderlust event itself is a learning lab, allowing our Event Management students the opportunity to plan and produce a large-scale fundraising event. Each year, three students serve as the Wanderlust Event Interns, planning the event for 8 months. In the semester of the event, the Senior Event Project course also works on the event as a class project. In addition, RHM students are invited to participate as volunteers for service learning credit. Over 50 students will assist with this event in 2017 and benefit from this unique learning experience.
